Roast smoked meat with sauerkraut
Ingredi�nten:Mash (diepvries) of Mash de luxe (diepvries) of Easy Mash (diepvries)
250 g block of smoked meat
20 g lard
50 g vegetable for soup
30 g onion
150 g sauerkraut
50 ml broth
1 apple
10 g bay leave
whole black pepper, salt

Preheat the oven at 180 °C. Fry the smoked meat on the lard in the frying pan from each side. Clean vegetable for soup, wash it, and cut. Add the vegetable to the meat and roast for 40 minutes in the oven.
Peel onion and cut finely in the meantime. Fry it on the remaining lard until glassy. Add sauerkraut, bay leaves, pepper balls and broth. Stew under the lid for about 15 min. Rinse the apple and divide it into quarters. Remove the core and grate on coarser grater. After adding the apple to the sauerkraut stew the mixture for another 5 min and then season with salt and pepper. Lay the smoked meat on sauerkraut. Choose Farm Frites potato mash, formed to the required shape by means of moulder, as side dish. The dish can be decorated with fresh herbs.
