Energy & water management
Both our energy and water intensity have been lowered.
The energy intensity decreased with approximately 0.3 gigajoule per tonne finished product. Compared to 2012, the water intensity decreased around 200 litres per tonne finished product. The focus for the next years will be to continue lowering these intensities, but also to increase the amount of renewable energy and to increase the percentage of water reuse in our factories.
