Urban Fries with Creamy Za’atar Dip

This Urban Fries dish offers the perfect balance between crispy texture and aromatic depth. A quick-prep option that’s ideal for chefs wanting to bring street food to the plate with minimal effort. 
This is what you need for two people: 
  • 300 g Urban Fries 

  • 200 g full-fat Greek yoghurt (or a plant-based alternative) 

  • 1–2 tbsp za’atar (to taste) 

  • 1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 

  • 1 garlic clove, finely grated or crushed 

  • 1 tbsp lemon juice 

  • Pinch of salt 

  • Finely chopped fresh mint or parsley 

This is how you prepare your dish: 
  1. In a bowl, combine the yoghurt, garlic, lemon juice, and salt. 

  2. Stir in half the za’atar and ½ tablespoon of olive oil. 

  3. Cover and refrigerate the dip for at least 10 minutes to allow the flavours to develop. 

  4. Meanwhile, fry the Urban Fries according to the on-pack instructions. 

  5. Just before serving, top the dip with the remaining za’atar, the rest of the olive oil, and a sprinkle of the chopped herbs. 

This dish works beautifully as a side or sharable plate.
