Urban Fries with Sweet and Sour Jalapeño Sauce

Crispy Urban Fries paired with a bold sweet and sour jalapeño sauce – bringing heat, freshness, and a touch of sweetness in every bite.
This is what you need for two people: 
  • 300 g Urban Fries 

  • 1–2 fresh jalapeño peppers (deseeded for less heat) 

  • 2 tbsp honey or agave syrup 

  • 2 tbsp rice vinegar or apple cider vinegar 

  • 1 tbsp lime juice 

  • 1 garlic clove 

  • ¼ tsp salt 

  • 60 ml olive oil or sunflower oil 

  • Optional: 1 tbsp mayonnaise or Greek yoghurt for added creaminess 

This is how you prepare your dish: 
  1. Chop the jalapeños, removing seeds if you prefer less heat. 

  2. Place jalapeños, honey/agave, vinegar, lime juice, garlic, and salt in a blender or jug.  

  3. Blend until smooth. While blending continuously, slowly add the oil to emulsify the sauce.  

  4. Taste and adjust sweetness, acidity, or salt as needed. 

  5. For a creamier sauce, stir in mayonnaise or Greek yoghurt if desired. 

  6. Serve chilled alongside crispy Urban Fries, prepared following the on-pack instructions.
