Steps towards a sustainable future

As a key player in the food industry, we have an opportunity and a responsibility to make decisions that make a positive impact on the world. We have the power to affect critical areas such as agriculture, water management, food waste, packaging and climate change. The choices we make today will lead to a better, more sustainable planet. 

We are pleased to present our Farm Frites Sustainability Report 2023. In this report, we share both our progress and the challenges the past year has presented, as we journeyed forth towards the green goals we set for our organisation in 2018. 

The report provides an inside look at how we are working towards a greener organisation, with interviews with four of our colleagues who share their expertise, and several green ‘best practices’. You can read more about the construction of a cutting-edge solar park next to our Oudenhoorn facility, how we optimised our packaging approach to use less packaging material, and how we transform the organic matter from our waste water into biogas.
