Teriyaki Glaze & Fries
The popularity of Asian cuisine continues this summer, so bring the flavours of Asia to your menu with these Teriyaki Glaze & Fries. Tender salmon with umami-rich teriyaki sauce pairs perfectly with our crispy Regular 10mm fries, while the cucumber salad adds a refreshing contrast!
This is what you need for four people
For the Fries & Glaze
4 salmon fillets (skinless)
For the Teriyaki Sauce
5 tbsp soy sauce
6 tbsp water
1 tbsp dark brown sugar
1 tsp sesame oil
1-2 tsp rice vinegar
1 garlic clove, halved
1 cm fresh ginger
For the Cucumber Salad
2 (snack-size) cucumbers
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sesame oil
1 tsp rice vinegar
2 tsp chili flakes
2 tsp sesame seeds
This is how to you prepare your dish
For the Teriyaki Sauce, combine the soy sauce, water, sesame oil, rice vinegar, garlic, and ginger. Add the sugar and heat on low until the sugar dissolves and the sauce thickens slightly. Optionally, you can thicken the sauce further using cornstarch. Remove the garlic and ginger before using the sauce.
Brush the salmon fillets with the teriyaki sauce. Grease a baking tray with oil, place the salmon on the tray, and bake at 180°C for 14-16 minutes or until cooked through.
Slice the cucumbers into spirals or thin slices. Combine them in a bowl with the soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, chili flakes, and sesame seeds. Season with pepper and salt to taste.
Fry the Farm Frites according to the package instructions.
Place the fries on a plate and top them with the glazed salmon. Serve alongside the refreshing cucumber salad, garnished with sesame seeds.
With this Teriyaki Glaze & Fries dish, you bring a delicious and adventurous Asian twist to your menu—perfect for customers craving something new and exciting!
